Having experienced the past few days of revel and fancy outfits, I was really looking forward to taking a lazy stroll by the sea with just a pair of jeans and a warm bomber jacket; but thanks to my Christmas mood, that won’t leave me even after too many sparkling drinks, I couldn’t say no to my favourite pair of gold derbies that have a mind of their own… you see, after a very long time they felt a sudden urge to jump out of the box and give a festive twist to my casual look! ♬ ♪ shiny and warm / Goldfrapp

A day of high contrasts!

The very first minutes of the day foreshadowed the erratic course of what was to come. The weather turned from sunny into cloudy and vice versa; my down-filled coat and my old but never forgotten metallic Gucci penny loafers posed in front of a Grecian background; and on top of everything else, my car from being in full motion driving me all over Athens ran out of gas in the middle of one of the busiest roads.
