A unique art & dance performance event full of surprises took place last night in New York to to celebrate H&M’s collaboration with Maison Martin Margiela. The party was held across many floors of 5 Beekman Street, a historical building in the city’s financial district. Andrea Pompilio is one of my favorite new italian fashion designers! I really love his point of view, it’s fun, edgy, full of sophisticated details and super color combinations. Andrea has worked for some of the most important luxury brands, Alessandro Dell’ Acqua, Prada, Calvin Klein and YSL and in January 2010 he launched his first eponymous collection. His inspiration for the A/W ’12 collection is the metropolitan jungle we live in with a humorous mood. The accessories are a must-have and if I could I would have bought them all!
