Nafplion is a stunning small coastal city in eastern Peloponnese and one of my favorite weekend destinations. With only a two-hour ride from Athens, a gorgeous old town with a breathtaking view is there to refresh your stressed city life. Since last October, there has been one more reason why Nafplion makes a unique getaway and that is “Fougaro”(which means “Smokestack”). Fougaro, an old tomato cannery factory, has turned into a large interactive art and creativity venue, including an art & humanities library, exhibition and concert hall, art workshop and a cozy café-bar; definitely, an intellectual experience that you should not miss!
Neon comes from the Greek word “νέο” which stands for “new”; so, given my Greek origin, it was highly unlikely that this green lightweight U.S. POLO jacket would fail to give a fresh spin to my casual wardrobe. And for some extra surge of energy, my matching Nike sneakers, a relaxed denim shirt and a pair of ciel pin-striped trousers complete the right style.
Following my long weekend at Spetses, Easter arrived right on time to add some extra fuel to my already overloaded summer state of mind. A loose casual outfit along with my new summer must-have Bensimon tennis shoes, inspired by old-army canvas sneakers, was all set to help me venture new destinations with an ever basic sophisticated twist!
With summer just around the corner, I felt so excited that I got invited to the amazing Poseidonion Grand Hotel on the island of Spetses to summerize up a bit this hot spring weekend! I wish I could take the island’s vibe and the aura of the hotel back home; instead, I had to settle for some snapshots to remind me of the overwhelming light breeze of Spetses. Honestly, there is nothing like the greek summer… and, oh yes, I love cocktails by the pool!!!
Your favorite instagram pics are the inspiration behind Nike Air Max colorways thanks to Nike PHOTOiD. Just link your instagram account to photoid.nike.com, choose your best photo, choose your Nike, check out your unique design and share it. Even better, buy yourself a new pair of kicks! Yes, it’s crazy and addictive!
I have a confession to make: I’ve become a kind of sweatshirt junkie lately! Definitely, they were a front-row hit in the past year, but keep growing in the sartorial word. And after my beloved Kenzo and Acne must-have sweaters, here comes my super fresh Carven one with embroidered flowers. It was love at first sight!!!
